We Like Color

After sharing pics of our colorful bathroom & the mirror in it, I decided to share a pic of the other mirror we bought in Mexico (7 yrs ago), it hangs above our fireplace.

And as you can see, we're not afraid of color... lol! Though the wall colors on these pics only hint at the real colors, they're brighter in person.

The rooster hangs in our kitchen, I love looking at its colorful feathers!

Mexican Bathroom

Our powder room is done! I'm calling it our Mexican bathroom b/c of the decor we used for it.
Updates include: new wall color, new light fixtures, new towels & tp hardware, new cabinet & a colorful mirror.

The mirror is one of the two mirrors we got in Mexico about 7 years ago, it used to hang at the top of the stairs. I really couldn't stand the cheap mirror that used to be in this bathroom, this is a whole lot better... love it! The cabinet used to be in the master bathroom and it used to be white, Blair painted it to match the blue in the mirror. I still need to find some colorful print for one of the walls and a few decorations for on top of the cabinet, that plant is not cutting it... ha!

I love this bathroom, it's so bright & cheerful!

Pretty Rainbow

Today it was Eliot's school open house, when we were walking into the school we noticed a pretty rainbow so I had to take a pic of it.

For some reason I didn't take any pics of Eliot's class or him with his teachers, I guess I was having too much fun hearing him tell us all about it.

After that we went out to eat at a new Mexican restaurant, it was a nice colorful place but the food wasn't very good so I'm not sure we'll be back again.

Bathtub Fun

The boys decided to have a bath and since we haven't been able to do any swimming lately, they decided that it would be fun to use their goggles while playing in the tub. Silly boys :o)

Lots and Lots of Colors

Can you have too many color chips while deciding on wall colors? I don't think so, not when you're trying to find that perfect color.

Though your eyes might start to cross after 2 or 3 booklets :oP

A Little Peek

A little peek to a couple of the decorating items we'll be using in our house update.

Baseball, playground & planes...

... all part of a beautiful Spring day! Eliot had baseball practice and the weather was gorgeous! There is a small airport nearby so we got to see a few planes, our favorite was the old C45 (I believe that's it) that kept passing by. Ian had a great time playing in the playground, even Blair came to join us after he got out of work. And Eliot was very proud to wear his new team's baseball cap... Go Braves!!

A Student

We're so proud of our Eliot, he has been an A student since kindergarten.

He loves reading so I never have to get onto him for not reading enough, as a matter of fact it's the other way around, I usually have to ask him to put the book down to do other stuff! And lucky kid, math comes easy to him right now.

We can only pray that he keeps this enthusiasm for the rest of his school years!

Ian's picture requests

Oh little pool, we're so ready for it to be warm enough to jump into your refreshing water!!

Ian asked me to drive by the pool to make sure that it wasn't open yet, he just wanted to make sure that we weren't missing the opportunity to go swimming. Both of my boys are soooo ready for it!

Then as we got near Eliot's school he asked me to take a pic of it b/c it will also be his school next school year.

I'm so no ready for my baby to be in kindergarten!!

Track

Ian's baseball practices are right next to track of the nearby Middle school. So Eliot & I have decided that instead of just standing/sitting there waiting for the practice to be over that we are going to do something better... walk a few times around the track. I can't believe I didn't think about it last year when Ian was practicing in the same spot! We're not gonna miss the opportunity this time.

I'm not sure I like this pic much, my camera was acting funny but at least I have a picture! :o)
